Atlanta Geological Society

Welcome

The Atlanta Geological Society is a nonprofit organization with aims and objectives to strengthen and advance the geologic sciences as a profession and to provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas.

The AGS intends to foster the spirit of scientific research throughout the membership through meetings, lectures, newsletters, and educational programs, participate in or initiate research projects, make awards, and engage activities that are designed to encourage the exchange of information relating to geology.

We invite you to attend a meeting and join the Atlanta Geological Society.
